Overall light poles are designed for structural strength for torque and shearing, made to withstand the forces of nature, automobiles and other hazards. They are tested to meet quality and safety standards. They're durable and serve a needed purpose filling the dark with light. Allowing night-time entertainment, safety in spaces where people gather.
Everyday, millions of people encounter lighting and don't even take notice. But with the right finish ordinary poles can become an integral part of the design and landscape. We are proud to offer not only a great selection of light poles but durable powder coated finished and traditional hot-dip galvanizing for your project.
Powder coating is a dry finishing process that uses a powder composed of finely ground particles of pigment and resin that is sprayed onto a surface to be coated. The parts to be coated are electrically grounded so that the charged powder particles propelled at them cling to the parts and are held there until melted and fused into a smooth coating in a curing oven. The result is a uniform, durable, high quality, environmentally safe, and attractive finish.
Actual color may vary slightly due to area, sheen, application or lighting. For colors not shown, additional charges apply and a minimum order is required.
Whenever possible we use environmentally friendly sources.
For more than 150 years, hot-dip galvanizing after fabrication has been specified to combat steel corrosion in the harshest environments throughout various markets. However, new technologies and creative chemistries evolve the specification and use of hot-dip galvanized steel constantly as new markets emerge. Once considered only as a means of corrosion protection, hot-dip galvanizing is now specified for an array of reasons including lower initial cost, durability, longevity, availability, versatility, sustainability, and even aesthetics.
All of our hot-dip galvanized products conform to ASTM specification A123 / A123 M-02, Specification for Zinc (Hot-Dip Galvanized) Coatings on Iron and Steel Products and A153 / A153 M-03, Specification for Zinc Coating (Hot-Dip) on Iron and Steel Hardware. From start to finish our facilities maintain the highest standards and quailty control.
